Google Maps Is Testing A New Sidebar Navigation

Google is testing a brand new skinny sidebar navigation on the left facet of the maps interface. The sidebar has the Google Maps pin icon, then the discover tab, then journeys, saved locations, contribute and a extra icon.

This was noticed by Punit on Twitter and Mastodon the place he posted a video of this new sidebar in motion. Here’s a screenshot adopted by his videocast:

I personally don’t see this interface but however I’m a fan of skinny sidebar navigation. 🙂
